Match Notes

The Cats took a 1 pin lead in the 1st leg but Flyers won the next 3 legs to go 29 ahead after 4 legs the next 4 legs saw the Cats clawing their way back into the game, the last two legs were much more even 29-30 and 33-32, so Flyers took the half by 7 pins. The 2nd half started quietly to the point where the half was level after 4 legs. The cats then took a small lead which they held for the 3 legs but with the Flyers winning the final 3, they took the half by 16 pins. Top score honours: 73 Aled (Flyers) and 72 Bob (M A Cats). Highest Spare: 16 Dave (Flyers)( 4 & 2 in legs 7 & 8did not help his score much!) Also deserving of a mention was Tony's 1st Ball Flat'ner in leg 6.
