Charitable Donations

Each season the League requests its constituent members to nominate a locally based charity.

SEASON 2025/26

A cheque for £1,170.00 was presented to PEAK (Parenting Empowered Autistic Kids) at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA club on Wednesday 5th August 2026.

SEASON 2024/25

A cheque for £1,100.00 was presented to Alzheimers Society (Gloucester & District Branch) at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA club on Wednesday 6th August 2025.

SEASON 2023/24

A cheque for £1000.00 was presented to Parkinsons UK (Gloucester Branch) at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA club on Wednesday 7th August 2024.

SEASON 2022/23

A cheque for £545.18 was presented to Charlie's Cancer Support & Therapy Centre at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA club on Wednesday 2nd August 2023.

SEASON 2021/22

A cheque for £600 was presented to Scoo-B-Doo Neo Natal Unit at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA club on Wednesday 3rd August 2022.

SEASON 2020/21

No charity donation as skittles season did not take place due to Covid Pandemic. Nominated charity held over to next season.

SEASON 2019/20

A cheque for £520 was sent to Gloucester Kidney Patients Association by post on 1st September 2020 (Covid Pandemic - AGM not possible).

SEASON 2018/19

A cheque for £850 was presented to The Family Haven at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA Club on Wednesday 7th August 2019.

SEASON 2017/18

A cheque for £1,000 was presented to Meningitis Now at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA Club on Wednesday 1st August 2018.

SEASON 2016/17

A cheque for £645 was presented to The Spring Centre at the League's Annual General Meeting held at the GALA Club on Wednesday 2nd August 2017.
